Marvel Wine Cooler Reviews

The Marvel wine cooler line is one of the extraordinary quality, higher-end brands of wine coolers. Starting at well above $1000, these wine refrigerators are built for more serious wine lovers with finer collections of wines. When you buy a Marvel wine storage unit, you have purchased an appliance that will last for many years. After testing several models, we have reviewed 2 Marvel wine cooler refrigerators that we believe are the best coolers in their line. They are 2 different sizes, with different features, and at different price points, but any will make the perfect storage and chilling unit for your fine wines.

Marvel 24-Inch Wine & Beverage Cooler:
With two temperature zones for wine storage and beverage refrigeration, this cooler stores up to 14 wine bottles, including magnum bottles, or 133 12-ounce canned beverages. The Marvel exclusive MicroSentry refrigeration monitor contains a visual audible alarm that alerts you if the temperature gets above or below the chosen point for any extended time, which could impact storage quality. It also alerts you if the door is left open. An amber LED display shows the inside temperature in real time. Soft-touch controls are located discretely for an understated design elegance. The temperature of the cooler can be set between 40 and 65 degrees F.

The shelves and wine racks slide out smoothly, with safety stops built in. It has one coated wire shelf with 2 flip-up sections for vertical storage of opened 2-liter bottles, 2 removable tempered glass shelves, one wine rack that extends, and a stationary wine cradle that provides storage for all your beverages. An elegant interior lighting system can be set for continuous lighting with the one-touch control. A clear, solid trim of white maple on the rack fronts is perfect for a custom finish that matches the cabinetry. The door is made of argon-filled, tinted UV-resistant dual-pane glass that displays the contents while protecting them from any potentially-damaging UV rays. The door swing is reversible and requires a half opening to extend the racks. A clean, continuous toe kick adds a beautiful finish to this unit.

The Marvel 24-Inch cooler comes in 3 distinctive colors, which are monochromatic white with white interior, monochromatic black with black interior, or a stainless steel framed door with a black cabinet and black interior. You may also order your beverage cooler with a door that accepts a custom overlay frame. This model can be purchased for around $1400 in appliance and specialty stores.

Marvel 2 Zone Beverage & Wine Cooler Chateau B:
The height of luxury shows in the stunning Chateau collection. This unit features wine storage in the upper compartment and beverage storage in the lower compartment. Each section is controlled independently, and features smooth slide-out racks and the signature Marvel ebony interior. This cooler unit stores up to 54 wine bottles in the upper compartment, and up to 114 canned drinks and 14 wine bottles in the lower compartment. Marvel's exclusive Sentry System refrigeration monitors temperature with visual and audible alarms temperature movements, power failures and any door ajar conditions that occur. Intuitive soft-touch controls are located discretely for an added design touch. The Temperatures for each section can be set between 40 and 65 degrees F. The System has a built-in Sabbath mode that is user-activated, as well as full automatic defrost.

The upper compartment has easy, full-extension slide-out wine racks that are specially designed to hold all kinds of bottles, from the small half-bottles on up to the high-shouldered Bordeaux-type bottles. A removable vibration-calming mat comes standard with each rack to minimize the unsettling vibration that can cause wine sediment jostling. The lower compartment has two slide-out glass shelves for beverages and a unique shelf section that will flip up to vertically store taller items such as 2-liter beverage bottles and wine bottles. An Elegant interior light displays your fine wines and can be set for continuous illumination with just one push of a button. The shelf fronts made of clear, solid white maple are great for custom finishing that matches the cabinetry. Or you can use Marvel's own pre-finished Shelf Facings in glossy black, glossy white or stainless steel. The doors are constructed of dual-paned, argon-filled, tinted glass with uv protection. The door swing is also reversible and requires only a hal-opening for full shelf extension. A clean and continuous toe kick adds a stylish finish to this unit. This Marvel wine cooler will cost you about $4700, so it is not cheap. But it is a great appliance for the serious fine wine connoisseur.
